Warner Media Upfront 2019

WarnerMedia (now enhanced by their relationship with AT&T) is the new name behind the many cable networks you have been watching which include Adult Swim,Bleacher Report, Boomerang, Cartoon Network, CNN, Crunchyroll, Great Big Story, HLN, Rooster Teeth, TBS, TNT, truTV, Turner Sports and Warner Brothers Syndicate – “demonstrating the diversity of storytelling from each brand, now under one roof. The combined portfolio reaches over 3 in 4 Americans every month across all platforms, and now boasts more than 1.2 billion followers across social media platforms.”

So what are we watching? Conan OBrien who is still hysterical after all these years.

Tracy Morgan and Tiffany Haddish in The Last OG. Why we love it? Because we love Tiffany and Tracy! Plus it’s shot in Brooklyn and it is genuinely funny!

Niecy Nash, Karuech Tran and Harold Perrineau — in Claws. Season 3 brings the ladies deeper into the mayhem and criminal activity but this time as lady bosses. Don’t get it twisted, as sweet as seem, they are definitely a female gang that you would not want to cross and we can’t stop watching!

TBS’ Impractical Jokers returns and adds a gameshow to their outrageous brand of humor. The Misery Index will be hosted by Jameela Jamil (The Good Place).

Ann Curry’s Chasing the Cure, brings Crowdsourcing to healthcare. We will watch as average citizens with a variety of illnesses receive diagnoses for chronic and undetermined illnesses.

TNT will get an up-close and personal look at basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal in a new docu-series, Shaq Life.

Saturday Night Live alum Nasim Pedrad stars in the single-camera comedy Chad; Nasim plays an awkward teenage boy of immigrant parents. He is trying very hard to fit in and finds his brand of “cool”. It’s cringe-worthy but in a funny fly on the wall kind of way.

Daveed Diggs and Jennifer Connelly star in Snowpiercer, which had a second season already ordered. It’s a dystopian thriller set on a perpetually moving train that is home for earth’s remaining three thousand inhabitants during some stage of an ice age. It’s sleek, dark and appears to show the onboard life and war between classes.

What’s next for WarnerMedia? Streaming … coming 2020!
