The DivaGals can’t get enough of Kelly Rowland. She is one of the sweetest and most approachable entertainers we have ever met. Kelly’s latest accomplishment is ,otherhood and just like her style, she is rocking it.
Dreft sponsored a lovely afternoon tea with Kelly at the Gansevoort rooftop on Park Ave. Kelly, an avid Dreft user, helped to unveil Dreft’s new line of laundry care products that match the different stages of babyhood for their #Amazinghood campaign. The decor was breathtakingly fabulous and the work of the very talented Sean Psomas of Wildflowers.
I asked Kelly what it’s like balancing work and motherhood, and she let me know that “it’s a challenge but its very important that Titan gets my full attention.” To make sure this happens Kelly had a recording studio built in her new home so she can be near her baby when she is working.
Like any new parent she is sleep deprived. “The best advice I got from friends (Beyonce, maybe?) about being a new mother was to sleep when the baby is sleeping.” Kelly admits she didn’t follow the advice, now she’s encouraging new moms to do this.
Titan will not be making his television appearance on Kelly’s new reality series coming to BET. But he will be accompanying her when she has to travel. Since Titan is such a beautiful baby, I just had to ask if Kelly was thinking of adding to her family. Her quick response was “Noooo not for three or four years.” Guessing that’s until baby Titan is out of diapers!
